This is really great work! In my undergrad thesis (at Hampshire college) I collected similar ERP data with participants who identified as having a non-binary gender identity (although it was a bit more all over the place than this study :)). This data included both he/she/they and also himself/herself/themselves for the same kind of antecedents you talked about (as well as other kinds of antecedents). I ended up analyzing only a subset of the data, but I think it would be cool to test the Nref hypothesis with the other data too. So if you would like to look at additional data, here it is: https://osf.io/2vjyp/ (Its been a while, so I don’t remember if this has everything you might need, but if you want to look at it and need more data, feel free to reach out!)
