  1. It is a follow-up to Jessie’s question: I’m curious why do you think the semantic RSA effects emerged more or less at the N4 time-window of the preceding word? One explanation is that this is because similar words tend to stand next to each other, which could mean that the effect is not necessarily due to prediction. One powerful way to confirm that this is prediction would be to split the preceding words into content and function words (which probably greatly increase the predictability of the target word by narrowing down the part of speech).
